Anne Shaddick taught life management skills for seven
years at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, coaching clients as they
moved through recovery to the life they wanted. It was through teaching that
she kept hearing “Why is it only now when I am dealing with this addiction that
I get the chance to learn these skills?” This led her to establishing Becalm,
taking her knowledge into the workplace, as well as working with clients one
on one. Anne has studied with the Adler School of Professional Coaching. She
has been practicing and studying yoga and meditation for over 20 years. With
her many years as a neuromuscular educator she brings her knowledge of the mind
and body together.

Anne has been a Certified Trager Practitioner since
1990. Prior to this she had studied dance, theatre and mask work. This eventually
led her to Trager, an approach that combines body awareness with movement. Anne
has worked with clients recovering from car accidents, sport injuries, birthing
trauma, as well as preparing athletes for marathons. Her work supports clients
coping with Cancer, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, H.I.V. and those just wanting
to feel more relaxed and at ease in their body. She has also trained in Reiki
and Cranio Sacral Therapy.
